Saw the movie last night, and all I can say is that I'm always skeptical about "blockbuster" hits for the summer-- I called it on Hancock this year (the movie was horrid.)  However, I had hopes for Batman because of all the recent reviews and let me tell you-- they lived up to (and might have surpassed) them.  The movie was great topped off by Heath Ledger's performance of the joker.  I don't care for Heath personally because of his choices, but his acting ability is amazing.  The world lost a great actor and all this talk of post-humorous oscar nods, in my mind, are not far-fetched.  I wouldn't be surprised.  Go see this movie- you won't be disappointed.  Oh, and a note: NO KIDS.  The movie was pretty violent and would be a bit scary for the younger ones.  My kids have a 12yr age limit on this one.

So, www.familyholland.net is dead-- this space, along with Joy's blog will take over as our means of distributing pictures of the kids, videos, files, etc.  Now, if only people would be interested in this stuff enough, to visit here often.  That would give me some motiviation to keep this up to date.
